For the realm of astrology, dreams extend far from the traditional definition of it simply being a series of thoughts, images, and sensations that occur in one's sleep. Instead, the astrological meaning of 'dream' refers to it being a sensory experience generated by the subconscious mind while the physical body is fast asleep. Hence, dreams are not confined to mere bodily functions. Instead, dreams can be a realistic depiction of the environment in which one resides.
However, as much as astrology posits that dreams mean something, people still cannot figure out the exact significance of a person's dream because the subconscious mind can only leave symbols for you to decode. Hence, human beings have developed multiple methods to take a more 'active role' in their dream state.
Lucid dreaming is one of those methods that is well studied upon by astrologers. Simply put, lucid dreaming refers to when you are aware that you are dreaming while still being in a state of slumber. The method was developed by people who wanted to navigate how their dreams could end so that they would like it to conclude. With this, there are many motivations that people come up with when they want to engage in lucid dreaming. However, one of the most exciting ways that lucid dreaming has been utilized was when people started to question if they could communicate
Numerous studies show that scientists could communicate to lucid dreamers while they were still sleeping. Dreamers have been seen to have responded through physical reflexes while being given different messages at different points in time. In a way, this proved that there could be real-time communication between the dreamer and experimenter, given the appropriate laboratory setting.
However, this does raise the question of whether or not it is only possible in laboratory settings, or can the average person choose to do it and still succeed?
People have different motivations in wanting to visit someone's dream. However, at the core of wanting to visit a dream is realizing that dreams hold a significant influence on the person they want to visit. People rarely visit dreams just out of pure fun (though it can be possible) because most of the time, people want to visit other people while they are asleep because they cannot confront this person in real life to tell them the message that they want to get across in the dream.
Hence, before you try out anything that this article suggests, please set your intentions straight. Seeing that whatever the person may interpret of the dream that you visit will affect how they solve the problems they are faced with in the real world, or it will also affect how they react to a message that they are yet to receive. Hence, do not use this for evil because there are repercussions.
With that said, the process is quite simple. You need to follow these few steps:
1. State your purpose clearly. To do so, carefully plan a ritual to accompany the attempt or meditate so that you can summon your energies. With this, set up a secluded place wherein you are free from distractions.
2. Think intently about the person. Of course, try to synchronize it when they are sleeping or the moment they enter into a deep sleep
3. Meditate on their appearance in your mind or look at a photo. Empathize on their point of view and meditate on their feelings without injecting in your ideas. By doing so, you align yourself with their energies. Thus, building a psychic bridge.
4. As you doze off, keep holding onto the embodying their persona. You can help yourself do this by muttering affirmations like, "I will enter her dreams" or "I will now cross over into their dream world." When you awake, please take note of your impressions and ask them about what their dream was.
5. Practice lucid dreaming. In this state, you can choose to direct yourself to that person's dream by pronouncing their name or focusing on entering their dreamworld through a familiar portal.
Though you are bound to gain insight into the inner workings of that person's mind, you have to be cautious of certain factors that may complicate the process.
For starters, you need to be sure that this would not affect the person's mental health. People who are suffering from mental health issues find it harder to confront revelations with ease. It would not be in your best interest to psychologically disturb a person you just wanted to help in the first place.
Also, if the person has an illness and the dream you entered triggered some reaction, you are now involved in the psychological troubles of this person. It would be best if you were held accountable for whatever response you may cause because you were technically there when it happened.
However, in the end, what matters is that your motivations in entering someone's dreams must be pure. If you and the person that you 'entered in' both benefit from your visit, then, in the end, all the hassle was worth it.
