This is the second card in the suit of Pentacles, and it’s the card of action, movement and changes, but at the same time, this is the card of harmony. The lesson of this card is to keep balance throughout the changes. And that is why it’s popularly depicted as a juggler’s card.
Here we have predominantly light blue and grey colors representing temperance (harmony), the background has a wavy (stormy) sea and two bouts fighting to stay afloat, this represents the changes.
In the middle of the card, there’s a juggler, he’s dressed in brown, orange and red with green shoes (typical juggler's suit) and he is juggling two of golden pentacles. Around the two of pentacles in his hands, there’s a green infinity symbol.
Red and green are opposite colors, and as such, they depict staying peaceful and balanced throughout all the changes and (financial) challenges that may arise. The lord of this card is the Spirit of Harmonious Changes and he helps keep a clear head and steady heart amidst the stormy atmosphere.
The Two of Pentacles is all about juggling responsibilities amidst ongoing changes. This is the card of fun situations at work, or with your colleagues. This card appears when you’re about to face some unpredictable happenings but it’s still asked of you to fulfil your duties and keep up the good work.
This card can be the omen of changing your profession or changing jobs, but at the same time this is the card of joy and recreation, some fun circumstances are bound to arise when this card pops up.
This card can also signify moving, changing your address and your job at the same time, and it’s talking about all the chores and obligations that come with such a change, but it’s up to you to keep your head up and leveled while undergoing all of this. The message of this card is to find something funny and look to the bright side of things in any (unpredictable) situation.
When this card shows up reversed it means that you won’t be able to keep up with all the changes and keep your stability and levelled head.
It can also point to an inner imbalance that is manifesting in the outer world through a lack of money or debt. This card also warns against borrowing money from someone to return it to someone else.
Two of Pentacles reversed can also foreshadow celebratory events to which you’re forced to go and your general dissatisfaction when it comes to your monetary and living conditions.
