Here we have the 6th card in the suit of Pentacles. Card of charity, sharing, mercy and the duty of the wealthy (towards the poor). This is the card of Material Success, and as such it omens either giving to charity or receiving a charity/grand gift.
In this card, the predominant colors are beige and yellow symbolizing generosity, salvation and charity. There are 3 figures in the image, two beggars from the previous card (5 of Pentacles) and one patron, representing the act of giving and receiving.
There are 6 pentacles in the image above the three figures symbolizing the act of sharing. The two beggars are dressed in yellow and blue garbs representing relief and saving grace, and the patron is dressed in red and blue, holding scales in his left hand representing justice, and golden coins in his right, pouring into the beggar's hand in yellow, representing sharing, charity and humbleness.
In the distance, there are a castle and green trees representing the renewed integration of the beggars back into the (classy) society.
This card is all about forgiveness, acceptance and sharing. Those who’re in a position of power and attributing money and welfare are called upon to share with the poor, less fortunate and homeless – to be humble.
And those who’re in a bad position, are about to receive either a very generous and royal gift, or they’re about to be saved from a tight spot by someone who has more than them or is a figure in a position of power.
This card is also about the spiritual exchange. Those who have more on a material plane are asked to learn a few (spiritual) things from those who’re rich in spirituality but not so on the mundane level.
And those who’re less fortunate on a material level are asked to learn the way of the wealthy in order to sustain themselves to be able to spread the “good word” and share their spiritual knowledge and wisdom with the rest of the world.
When the 6 of Pentacles is reversed, there’s some trouble in getting a loan, a stipend, a mortgage, or borrowing money from someone wealthier than thou. This card reversed can also implicate lust, avarice and greed; unfulfilled (material) ambitions and coveting what’s not yours.
6 of Pentacles reversed warns against wastefulness and arrogance. Just because you have more than others, doesn’t mean you’re special or somehow better than them; it just means you have more material resources and comfort, nothing more.
Adversely, this card reversed can represent ungratefulness for getting less than you expected or stinginess in not giving more as you should have.
