Queen of Pentacles
This is the 3rd court card in the suit of Pentacles and she stands for duty, generosity, practicality and comfort. This is the card of a caring but a steadfast woman who brings about abundance and prosperity to those below and around her.
The Queen of Pentacles [Upright]
Once again we have a yellow background, but the overall atmosphere is much richer and deeper than in the previous Pentacle cards. Here we have an arch of roses, a red robe, a green cape, a white dress, red earth, a red rabbit, a stone throne, red flowers and green grass. There’s also a solemn expression on the Queen’s face.
All of these colors and placements give off the Empress vibe, and indeed, the Queen of Pentacles is the closest to the Empress with her love for growing things and nature. This Queen is oozing fertile and welcoming energy, and all of the flowers, symbols and esthetics go into that regard.
She’s holding the golden pentacle in her lap and she knows that the pentacle is not for her, but rather for all those who’re dependent on her. She’s using her influence and wealth to be responsible and generous.
